Journal Article

Synthesis of Selected Naturally Occurring Glucosides of Volatile Compounds. Their Chromatographic and Spectroscopic Properties

TL;DR: In this article, the Koenigs-Knorr-Zemplen method was used to synthesize naturally occurring glucosides of benzyl alcohol, (+/-)-menthol, (+)-borneol, thymol, carvacrol and eugenol.
Journal Article

NMR spectroscopy of 2-hydroxy-1-naphthylidene Schiff bases with chloro and hydroxy substituted aniline moiety

TL;DR: In this article, the one and two-dimensional homo-and heteronuclear 1H and 13C NMR spectra of 2-hydroxy-1-naphthylidene Schiff bases with differently chloro- and hydroxyl- substituted aniline moiety were studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Coordination modes of 3-hydroxypicolinic acid: Synthesis and structural characterization of polymeric mercury(II) complexes

TL;DR: In this article, a new compound of 3-hydroxypicolinic acid (HpicOH) was obtained from the reaction of the corresponding mercury(II) halide with HpicOH, irrespective of the molar ratio of the reactants.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structural study of picolinamide complexes of Ni(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II) nitrates in solid state and solution

TL;DR: In this article, three picolinamide complexes of nickel, zinc, and cadmium were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and their structures in DMSO solutions as well as the structure of similar mercury(II) complex, [Hg(NO3)(pia)2](NO3) (4), have been elucidated by 1H and 13C NMR spectra.
Journal ArticleDOI

Coordination modes of 3-hydroxypicolinic acid (OH-picH): Synthesis and characterization of cadmium(II) complexes: Crystal and molecular structures of [CdX(OH-pic)(OH-picH)(H2O)]2 X = Cl−, Br−

TL;DR: Two complexes of 3-hydroxypicolinic acid and cadmium(II) chloride and bromide, namely di-μ-halo-[aqua]-qua-(3-hexypyridine-2-carboxylato-N,O) (3-hroxypyridinium-2 carboxylated O(O)cadmium (II)], halo = Cl−(1), Br−(2) as mentioned in this paper, have been prepared and characterized by spectroscopic, thermal and X-
