Journal ArticleDOI

8-plex quantitation of changes in cerebrospinal fluid protein expression in subjects undergoing intravenous immunoglobulin treatment for Alzheimer's disease.

TL;DR: An 8‐plex version of an isobaric reagent for the quantitation of proteins using shotgun methods is presented and it is found that there are differences in considering peptide‐based observations versus protein-based observations from quantitative shotgun proteomics studies.
Journal ArticleDOI

The tomato transcription factor Pti4 regulates defense-related gene expression via GCC box and non-GCC box cis elements.

TL;DR: Serial analysis of gene expression (SAGE) was used to compare transcripts in wild-type and Pti4-expressing Arabidopsis plants and revealed 78 differentially abundant transcripts encoding defense-related proteins, protein kinases, ribosomal proteins, transporters, and two transcription factors (TFs).
