Measurement of neutrino oscillation by the K2K experiment

M. H. Ahn, +220 more
- 12 Oct 2006 -
TL;DR: In this article, measurements of {nu}{sub {mu}} disappearance in K2K, the KEK to Kamioka long-baseline neutrino oscillation experiment are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evidence for an Oscillatory Signature in Atmospheric Neutrino Oscillations

Y. Ashie, +139 more
TL;DR: A dip in the L/E distribution was observed in the data, as predicted from the sinusoidal flavor transition probability of neutrino oscillation, which constrained nu(micro)<-->nu(tau) neutrinos oscillation parameters.
Journal ArticleDOI

Detection of accelerator produced neutrinos at a distance of 250-km

S. H. Ahn, +151 more
- 05 Jul 2001 -
TL;DR: In this article, the neutrino oscillations were detected in coincidence with the expected arrival time of the beam in the 22.5kt fiducial volume of Super-Kamiokande, the far detector at 250 km distance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Resolving the neutrino mass hierarchy and CP degeneracy by two identical detectors with different baselines

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explore the possibility of the simultaneous determination of neutrino mass hierarchy and the CP violating phase by using two identical detectors placed at different baseline distances, and demonstrate that the two-detector complex with each fiducial volume of 0.27 Mton has a potential of resolving the neutrinos mass hierarchy up to sin{sup 2}2{theta}{sub 13}>0.03 (0.055) at 2{sigma} (3{ sigma}) C.L.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the quasielastic axial vector mass in neutrino interactions on oxygen

R. Gran, +163 more
- 13 Sep 2006 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the weak nucleon axial-vector form factor for quasielastic interactions was determined using neutrino interaction data from the K2K Scintillating Fiber detector.
