Journal ArticleDOI

Low-Temperature Atomic Layer Deposition of Crystalline and Photoactive Ultrathin Hematite Films for Solar Water Splitting

TL;DR: It is found that, at high bias potentials, photocurrent density and quantum efficiency proportionally increase with light absorption in films thinner than 10 nm and are limited by the space charge layer width in thicker films.
Journal ArticleDOI

Efficient orange light-emitting electrochemical cells

TL;DR: In this paper, the bis-cyclometalated cationic iridium(III) complex with N-aryl-substituted 1H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline was reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

A quinoxaline-fused tetrathiafulvalene-based sensitizer for efficient dye-sensitized solar cells.

TL;DR: A new quinoxaline-fused tetrathiafulvalene-based sensitizer has been prepared and characterized, and the resulting power conversion efficiency of 6.47% represents the best performance to date for tetrATHiafulValene-sensitized solar cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Theoretical Screening of -NH2-, -OH-, -CH3-, -F-, and -SH-Substituted Porphyrins As Sensitizer Candidates for Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells

TL;DR: The result shows that -NH(2)-, -OH- and -CH(3)-substituted porphyrins as donors combined with the acceptor G are very promising to provide good performances as sensitizers because of their smaller HOMO-LUMO gaps, much red-shifted absorption bands, and good frontier molecular orbital spatial distributions.
