Abstract: Aus dem System FeCl3–AsPh3–Acetonitril wurden bei erhohter Temperatur Komplexe der Zusammensetzung FeCl3(OAsPh3)1,5 und FeCl3(OAsPh3)2 isoliert (PPh3 = Triphenylphosphin; OPPh3 = Triphenylphosphinoxid; AsPh3 = Triphenylarsin; OAsPh3 = Triphenylarsinoxid) In Gegenwart von Eisen(III)-chlorid-Komplexen kommt es im Verlauf der Reaktion zur Oxydation von AsPh3 zu OAsPh3 Auf Grund der magnetischen und spektralen Daten wird die Stereochemie der isolierten Komplexe besprochen Oxidation of Triphenylarsine in Iron(III) Chloride Complexes Complexes of the composition of FeCl3(OAsPh3)1,5 and FeCl3(OAsPh3)2 were separated at increased temperature from the system FeCl3–AsPh3–acetonitrile In the course of the reaction in the presence of iron(III) chloride complexes oxidation of AsPh3 takes place to give OAsPh3 On the basis of magnetic and spectral data the sterochemistry of the separated complexes is discussed
