Studies on Langmuir-Blodgett multilayer formation from preformed poly(N-alkylacrylamides)
TL;DR: In this article, the spreading behavior of preformed poly(N-alkylacrylamides) having hexyl (PHA), octyl (POA), decyl(PDA), dodecyl (PDDA), tetradecyl (PTDA), hexadecyl(PHDA), and octadecyl substituents on a water surface, and the properties of the Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films deposited from these polymer monolayers were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Journal ArticleDOI
Photochemical properties of network and branched polysilanes
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of the Si-skeleton on absorption and emission spectra of linear poly(methylphenylsilylene) and network polysilanes was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Polymerization of N-octadecylacrylamide in Langmuir-Blodgett multilayers
TL;DR: In this paper, a N -Octadecylacrylamide (ODA) monomer spread from benzene solution on a water surface forms a stable solid condensed monolayer, which could be deposited on solid supports successively by the Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) technique with transfer ratios of about 1.0.
