Thermal behaviour and dynamic mechanical analysis of Pennisetum purpureum /glass-reinforced epoxy hybrid composites
TL;DR: The thermal behavior and dynamic mechanical analysis of Pennisetum purpureum/glass-reinforced hybrid composites were investigated in this paper, where they were manufactured using a vacuum infusion process.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dynamic mechanical analysis and effects of moisture on mechanical properties of interwoven hemp/polyethylene terephthalate (PET) hybrid composites
TL;DR: The hybrid hemp/PET composites yielded the highest final residue % due to the PET fibres which improved the thermal stability and tensile and flexural strengths of the interwoven Hemp/PET hybrid composites were 4% and 22% greater than those of the woven hemp composites, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
The development of low cost adsorbents from clay and waste materials: a review
TL;DR: In this paper, low cost adsorbents including activated carbon, zeolites, mesoporous silica and clays are discussed in terms of adsorbent preparation methods and CO2 adsorption capacity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of fly ash addition on physical properties of porous clay-fly ash composites via polymeric replica technique
TL;DR: In this article, various ratios of fly ash with different percentage of suspension (50-70 wt%) were applied to produce porous clay-fly ash composites via polymeric replica technique.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mechanical properties of dissimilar welds between stainless steel and mild steel
TL;DR: In this article, the joining of stainless steel type 304 to mild steel was carried out using a gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) method using samples were welded using stainless steel welding electrode: (AWS: E308l-16) and mild steel welding electrodes: (WSA: E6013).
