Layered structure of vanadium pentoxide gels

TL;DR: In this article, a layered structure of vanadium pentoxide gels analogous to that of montmorillonites is presented. But the structure of the fibers themselves is not modified during the swelling process and can be presumably related to the lamellar structure of orthorhombic vanadium compounds.
Journal ArticleDOI

Vanadium pentoxide gels:: II. Structural study by x-ray diffraction

TL;DR: In this paper, a Patterson function calculated from diffracted X-ray intensities evidences a non-coplanar linkage between the elementary orthorhombic adjacent fibrils constituting the ribbon.
Journal ArticleDOI

Glass–ceramic nuclear waste forms obtained from SiO2–Al2O3–CaO–ZrO2–TiO2 glasses containing lanthanides (Ce, Nd, Eu, Gd, Yb) and actinides (Th): study of internal crystallization

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of the nature of the minor actinide surrogate (Ce, Nd, Eu, Gd, Yb, Th) on the structure, the microstructure and the composition of the zirconolite crystals formed in the bulk of the glass-ceramics are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Flexible electrochromic reflectance device based on tungsten oxide for infrared emissivity control

TL;DR: In this article, a powder of monohydrated tungsten oxide (WO3.H2O) was used for the making of an electrochromic infrared emissivity modulator.
Journal ArticleDOI

The structure of low temperature crystallized LiCoO2

TL;DR: LiCoO2 has been synthesized by a solution technique at a temperature as low as 300 °C within a few days or after very short times at 400 °C as mentioned in this paper.
