Study of the surrogate-reaction method applied to neutron-induced capture cross sections
G. Boutoux,Beatriz Jurado,V. Méot,O. Roig,L. Mathieu,M. Aïche,G. Barreau,N. Capellan,I. Companis,S. Czajkowski,K.-H. Schmidt,J.T. Burke,A. Bail,J. M. Daugas,T. Faul,P. Morel,N. Pillet,C. Theroine,X. Derkx,Olivier Serot,I Matea,L. Tassan-Got +21 more
TL;DR: Gamma-decay probabilities of 173Yb and 176Lu have been measured with two independent experimental methods based on the use of C6D6 scintillators and Germanium detectors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nuclear transition induced by low-energy unscreened electron inelastic scattering
TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the unscreened electron inelastic scattering cross sections in the 1-100 keV range with a second order perturbation theory and showed that the WKB approximation and DWBA calculations for low-energy electrons encountered show less than a 3% difference.
Journal ArticleDOI
Neutron-induced cross sections of short-lived nuclei via the surrogate reaction method
G. Boutoux,Beatriz Jurado,V. Méot,O. Roig,M. Aïche,L. Mathieu,G. Barreau,N. Capellan,I. Companis,S. Czajkowski,Jason Burke,E. Bauge,J.M. Daugas,T. Faul,L. Gaudefroy,P. Morel,N. Pillet,P. Romain,Julien Taieb,C. Theroine,X. Derkx,O. Sérot,I Matea,L. Tassan-Got,F. Gunsing +24 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used the surrogate reaction method to extract neutron-induced fission cross sections of short-lived actinides in the rare-earth region of the United States.
