TL;DR: In this article, an electromagnetic shield-type doorway for a building is provided with two doors having a curved passageway between them, and a revolving door is installed to fill the gaps at these edges.
Abstract: An electromagnetic shield-type doorway for a building is provided with two doors having a curved passageway between them. By lengthening the passageway to such an extent that the two doors cannot be opened simultaneously, electric waves can be blocked at either of the doors. The electromagnetic shielding effect can be enhanced by installing a revolving door in the passageway and attaching electrically conductive brushes to at least the lower edge and one side edge of the revolving door to fill the gaps at these edges. In a system for electromagnetically shielding a building, a doorway passageway of the building is partitioned by three or more doorways each having an electromagnetic shielding function. When persons leaving and exiting a building simultaneously approach entrance and exit doors at the ends of the doorway passageway so that these doors open at the same time, the central doorway remains closed to maintain the integrity of the electromagnetic shield. If a large number persons are entering and exiting, the doors are opened and closed in an interlocked manner so that one of the three doorways will always be closed, thereby maintaining the integrity of the shield in reliable fashion without hampering entry and exit.

TL;DR: In this paper, a transparent board with a transparent conductive film and an electrically conductive grid pattern was constructed on the same transparent board, and the transparent board was shown to be favorable for the window glass of an intelligent building.
Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a transparent board excellent in electromagnetic shielding performance and sufficiently excellent in transmissivity for visible light by a method wherein a transparent electrically film and an electrically conductive grid pattern are formed on a transparent board. CONSTITUTION: A transparent electrically film 5 and an electrically conductive grid pattern 7 are formed on a transparent board 2. The transparent conductive film 5 is high in shielding performance for a high frequency electromagnetic wave higher than 300MHz, and the conductive grid pattern 7 is high in shielding performance for a low frequency electromagnetic wave lower than the 400MHz, so that a high electromagnetic wave shielding effect can be obtained by using a transparent conductive film and a grid pattern together. By these processes, a transparent board of this design is favorable for the window glass of a building such as an intelligent building, a computer center, and other kinds of buildings where a see-through property, a light transmissivity, and moreover a high electromagnetic wave shielding property are required. TL;DR: In this article, a radio wave leakage diagnosing system for use in an intelligent building which is constructed using an electromagnetic shielding material for the skeleton and openings such as windows and doorways so that the whole of the building is formed into an electromagnetic shield structure is presented.
Abstract: Disclosed is a radio wave leakage diagnosing system for use in an intelligent building which is constructed using an electromagnetic shielding material for the skeleton and openings such as windows and doorways so that the whole of the building is formed into an electromagnetic shielding structure. The system has a radio wave detector disposed outside the building for detecting a predetermined radio wave transmitted from each floor of the building, so that a floor, togethere with a specific position, where there is a leakage of radio wave is detected on the basis of the intensity of the detected radio wave. With this arrangement, a predetermined radio wave is transmitted from each floor of the building and the transmitted radio wave is detected by the radio wave detector. Accordingly, the degree at which the radio wave leaks from each floor can be checked on the basis of the intensity of the received radio wave, and when the electromagnetic shielding is broken, the floor and specific position where the shielding abnormality occurs can be found on the basis of the intensity of the received radio wave. When the electromagnetic shielding performance has deteriorated, it is possible to know the degree of deterioration by making a comparison with the diagnostic results obtained in the past.

TL;DR: In this paper, an earth bond is obtained between a sash frame and steel reinforcing rods (22) in the reinforced concrete of a building body, which enables the window openings to be provided with an electromagnetic shielding effect through simple construction work.
Abstract: A building in which electromagnetic shielding members are used in a body (3) of the building and at openings such as windows, entrances and exits to provide the overall building with electromagnetic shielding is disclosed. A window glass (4) and a window frame (5) are each provided with an electromagnetic shielding body (1) formed so as to be electrically integrated with a grounded or earthed connection of a building structure. This enables the window openings to be provided with an electromagnetic shielding effect through simple construction work, virtually irrespective of the structure, shape and material of the window opening. Further, an earth bond is obtained between a sash frame (5) and steel reinforcing rods (22) in the reinforced concrete of the building body (3). This makes it possible ground the sash frame (5) in a simple manner without exposing it, and to obtain an electromagnetic shielding effect, merely by providing the earth bond between the reinforcing rods (22) and sash frame (5) before the concrete is poured.

TL;DR: In this paper, the identification system of an on-site communication system includes a system for identifying communication receivers including acknowledge back capability and operating within the ON-SIT system, and for controlling the delivery of messages to the communication receivers.
Abstract: An on-site communication system includes a system for identifying communication receivers including acknowledge back capability and operating within the on-site communication system, and for controlling the delivery of messages to the communication receivers. The identification system operates on the same frequency as the on-site communication system, and includes an RF shielded enclosure for momentarily shielding the communication receivers from messsages transmitted on the on-site communication system. The RF shielded enclosure provides interference free identification of the communication receivers as the communication receivers pass through the enclosure, and enables the determination of those communication receivers which are operating within the coverage area of the on-site communication system, and those communication receivers which have left the coverage area of the on-site communication system.

TL;DR: In this article, a method for operating a wind turbine with a generator, drivable by a rotor, for supplying electrical power to an electrical load, in particular an electric grid, is described.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for operating a wind turbine with a generator, drivable by a rotor, for supplying electrical power to an electrical load, in particular an electric grid. In order to compensate for fluctuations in the grid as far as possible, the system of the kind initially specified is developed in such a way that the power delivered to the load by the generator is regulated in response to a current outputted to the load.

TL;DR: In this paper, a circuit board includes a reference plane configured as a grid having conductive elements formed as squares, and electrical signal conductors are positioned between the two grids along lines extending between the vertices of the squares.
Abstract: A shielded flexible cable includes a first shielding grid having conductive elements formed as squares. A second shielding grid is also formed as squares. The two shielding grids are positioned with respect to each other so that the vertices of the squares of the two grids are respectively offset from each other in each of two directions by one-half the diagonal distance between the vertices of the squares. Electrical signal conductors are positioned between the two grids along lines extending between the vertices of the squares to maintain a controlled impedance of the signal lines. A circuit board includes a reference plane configured as a grid having conductive elements formed as squares. Electrical signal conductors are positioned in a plane adjacent said grid. The decreased percent copper used to construct the grid increases the characteristic impedance of the signal conductors without increasing the thickness of the circuit board, without decreasing the width or thickness of the conductors and without using nonhomogeneous or nonstandard dielectrics. The circuit board provides the use of an increased range of impedance in signal conductors that permits the transfer of signals without degradation of the signal quality or loss of signal density, while providing an acceptable shielding capability.
