TL;DR: In this article, a generalized model of photothermal theory with two-temperature thermoelasticity theory based on memory-dependent derivative (MDD) theory is performed for a one-dimensional problem for an elastic semiconductor material with isotropic and homogeneous properties.
Abstract: In this work, a novel generalized model of photothermal theory with two-temperature thermoelasticity theory based on memory-dependent derivative (MDD) theory is performed. A one-dimensional problem for an elastic semiconductor material with isotropic and homogeneous properties has been considered. The problem is solved with a new model (MDD) under the influence of a mechanical force with a photothermal excitation. The Laplace transform technique is used to remove the time-dependent terms in the governing equations. Moreover, the general solutions of some physical fields are obtained. The surface taken into consideration is free of traction and subjected to a time-dependent thermal shock. The numerical Laplace inversion is used to obtain the numerical results of the physical quantities of the problem. Finally, the obtained results are presented and discussed graphically.

TL;DR: In this paper, the propagation of time harmonic plane waves in an infinite nonlocal thermoelastic solid having void pores was studied, and the effects of frequency, void parameters, thermal parameter and nonlocality have been studied numerically on the phase speeds, attenuation coefficients and specific losses of all the propagating waves.
Abstract: This work is concerned with the propagation of time harmonic plane waves in an infinite nonlocal thermoelastic solid having void pores. Three sets of coupled dilatational waves and an independent transverse wave may travel with distinct speeds in the medium. All these waves are found to be dispersive in nature, but the coupled dilatational waves are attenuating, while transverse wave is nonattenuating. Coupled dilatational waves are found to be influenced by the presence of voids, thermal field and elastic nonlocal parameter. While the transverse wave is found to be influenced by the nonlocal parameter, but independent of void and thermal parameters. For a particular model, the effects of frequency, void parameters, thermal parameter and nonlocality have been studied numerically on the phase speeds, attenuation coefficients and specific losses of all the propagating waves. All the computed results obtained have been depicted graphically and explained.

Dies fiihrt

TL;DR: A three-dimensional model of the generalized thermoelasticity without energy dissipation under temperature-dependent mechanical properties is established and the modulus of elasticity is taken as a linear function of the reference temperature.
Abstract: A three-dimensional model of the generalized thermoelasticity without energy dissipation under temperature-dependent mechanical properties is established. The modulus of elasticity is taken as a linear function of the reference temperature. The resulting formulation in the context of Green and Naghdi model II is applied to a half-space subjected to a time-dependent heat source and traction free surface. The normal mode analysis and eigenvalue approach techniques are used to solve the resulting non-dimensional coupled equations. Numerical results for the field quantities are given in the physical domain and illustrated graphically. The results are also compared to results obtained in the case of temperature-independent modulus of elasticity.

TL;DR: The effects of thermal relaxation times and porosity in a poro-thermoelastic medium are studied and numerical computations for temperatures, displacements and stresses for the liquid and the solid are presented graphically.
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to provide a method to investigate the effects of thermal relaxation times in a poroelastic material by using the finite element method. The formulations are applied under the Green and Lindsay model, with four thermal relaxation times. Due to the complex governing equation, the finite element method has been used to solve these problems. All physical quantities are presented as symmetric and asymmetric tensors. The effects of thermal relaxation times and porosity in a poro-thermoelastic medium are studied. Numerical computations for temperatures, displacements and stresses for the liquid and the solid are presented graphically.
