Controlled Release Systems Using Swellable Random and Block Copolymers and Terpolymers
Nicholas A. Peppas,Sarah K. Vakkalanka,Christopher S. Brazel,Amy S. Luttrell,Neena K. Mongia +4 more
TL;DR: In this article, Nisopropyl acrylamide-containing random and block copolymers and terpolymers are presented for release of fibrinolytic enzymes and antithrombotic agents.
Journal ArticleDOI
Brittle fracture of entangled polymers
TL;DR: In this paper, a stochastic model is presented to calculate the number of chain segments entangled about a unit plane when the segment length is a variable and the crossing density to which the brittle fracture energy and the critical strength of entangled polymers scale is a function of the moles of entangled network strands per unit volume and the mesh size of the entanglement network.

Journal ArticleDOI
Prediction of feed comonomer and solvent composition for monomer-free polymer production.
TL;DR: A method has been developed to establish the desirable polymerization conditions for the production of monomer-free polymer at 100% conversion and an example of the result of the polymerization of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate and methyl methacRYlate is used to illustrate the application of this method.
