Abstract: The objective of this paper1 is to present a framework that helps small and medium enterprise to exploit their available informational space. While large enterprises contains dedicated information management departments and software, the actual software framework implementations lack orientation towards small and medium companies with fewer employees and smaller budget. We propose a framework implementation which couple with legacy data systems that are usually used by small and medium companies. By the use of ontologies, this framework implementation adds semantically enabled information integration and will also provide for the employees a work process embedded, context-sensitive information services. In this paper we focus on the framework's main architectures and present advances related to the ontology generation framework.

Abstract: We present in this paper a fast method for the reconstruction of the dental 3D structure using the images obtained from Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT). A high-quality visualization of the dental tissues, including 3D reconstruction, is essential for the accurate diagnosis and treatment in dentistry. The segmentation for the dental CBCT images presents several major problems because of the noisiness of the images. We analyze the existing methods and propose one that uses the information for the dental structure and distribution to reduce the computational load and to provide good results in an automatic procedure.

Abstract: The work of this p aper is done within the context of European Project E! 8949 PrEmISES 1. One of the central pieces of PrEmISES[16] is the use of automatic tool generation algorithms for the creation of ontologies. The objective of this work is to extend the work from PrEmISES for raising the medical literacy of empowered patients by creating a digital library that contains relevant articles from different medical domain. It should be noted that a large number of persons are interested in finding relevant information about their condition. We have chosen to discuss in this research the automated generation of ontologies for the medical domain. By the use of ontologies that gives key terms from a domain, the creation of the digital library can be done by crawling from the Internet articles which are related to the profile of the user and that are based on the key terms of the ontologies. The articles from the digital library can be used by a patient to raise his / her knowledge and literacy related to his/her diseases.

Abstract: Here, we describe a general-purpose prediction model. Our approach requires three matrices of equal size and uses two equations to determine the behavior against two possible outcomes. We use an example based on photon-pixel coupling data to show that in humans, this solution can indicate the predisposition to disease. An implementation of this model is made available in the supplementary material.

Abstract: Voting is the important procedure in different countries worldwide and is essential to any consensus-dependent society [1]. Especially in the context of COVID pandemic where people stays home, such systems are very relevant today. Elections can happen for different reasons, involving choosing leaders, finishing political problems, choosing a substantial government, etc. [2]. The phenomenal using of Information Technology in the process of election is quickly earning momentum. This growth in voting systems indicated to as evoting comes with more benefits than the voting system based on paper. While there are many efforts in different parts of world regarding implementations and trials for electronic voting, there are not many researches regarding this in Asia Minor, especially Iraq. It can be noted that Iraq has several regions with difficult access and where sometime it is difficult to collect votes in the traditional way because of access reasons and post-war conditions. We want to fill this gap through the research presented in this paper. In this paper we describe an application for m-voting targeting the specific conditions of Iraq in the COVID situation. In the current society, the application of which we are talking about, can also be seen as a significant help for a numerous amount of countries during the pandemic of COVID-19. The application is based on Mobile technology. We choose mobile technology motivated by the fact that although people do not have computers, almost everyone has a mobile phone in Iraq. Moreover, the usefulness of mobiles can represent a proper way for people with disabilities to execute their legal right to vote for the future of their country.

Abstract: The Martini coarse-grained force field has been successfully used for simulating a wide range of (bio)molecular systems. Recent progress in our ability to test the model against fully atomistic force fields, however, has revealed some shortcomings. Most notable, phenylalanine and proline were too hydrophobic, and dimers formed by polar residues in apolar solvents did not bind strongly enough. Here, we reparametrize these residues either through reassignment of particle types or by introducing embedded charges. The new parameters are tested with respect to partitioning across a lipid bilayer, membrane binding of Wimley–White peptides, and dimerization free energy in solvents of different polarity. In addition, we improve some of the bonded terms in the Martini protein force field that lead to a more realistic length of α-helices and to improved numerical stability for polyalanine and glycine repeats. The new parameter set is denoted Martini version 2.2.

Based on a building block principle, the model combines speed and versatility while maintaining chemical specificity. Here we review the current state of the model. We describe recent highlights as well as shortcomings, and our ideas on the further development of the model.

Abstract: For simulations of membranes and membrane proteins, the generation of the lipid bilayer is a critical step in the setup of the system. Membranes comprising multiple components pose a particular challenge, because the relative abundances need to be controlled and the equilibration of the system may take several microseconds. Here we present a comprehensive method for building membrane containing systems, characterized by simplicity and versatility. The program uses preset, coarse-grain lipid templates to build the membrane, and also allows on-the-fly generation of simple lipid types by specifying the headgroup, linker, and lipid tails on the command line. The resulting models can be equilibrated, after which a relaxed atomistic model can be obtained by reverse transformation. For multicomponent membranes, this provides an efficient means for generating equilibrated atomistic models. The method is called insane, an acronym for INSert membrANE.
