A safety climate measure for construction sites

TL;DR: In this article, the authors tested Brown and Holmes' (1986) three-factor safety climate model on construction workers and found that a two-factor model provided an overall better fit.
Journal ArticleDOI

Gender and the social context of smoking behaviour

TL;DR: Examination of relative effect of both individual and societal factors that impinge directly on smoking behaviour of women and men in Canadian provinces shows that smoking occurs in social contexts within which the price of cigarettes appears to have a significant negative impact on the prevalence of smoking and the quantity of cigarettes smoked by men, but no effect on either the prevalence or the amount smoked by women.
Journal ArticleDOI

Safety performance among union and nonunion workers in the construction industry.

Journal Article
