TL;DR: It is found that there is no significant association of allele frequency with risk of MI, and Stratification for age, gender and other cardiovascular risk factors also failed to reveal an association of this polymorphism with MI.

Genetic Assessment of Potential Long-Term On-Target Side Effects of PCSK9 (Proprotein Convertase Subtilisin/Kexin Type 9) Inhibitors

TL;DR: Genetic analyses suggest that long-term use of PCSK9 inhibitors, like statins, may be associated with increased risk of T2DM, and some other potential side effects need to be looked for in future studies of PC SK9 inhibitors.
