Abstract: A group of authors has developed a multilevel mathematical model that focuses on functional disorders in a human body associated with various chemical, physical, social, and other factors. At this point, the researchers have come up with structure, basic definitions and concepts of a mathematical model at the “macrolevel” that allow describing processes in a human body as a whole. Currently we are working at the “mesolevel” of organs and systems. Due to complexity of the tasks, this paper deals with only one meso-fragment of a digestive system model. It describes some aspects related to modeling multiphase flow in the antroduodenal portion of the gastrointestinal tract. Biochemical reactions, dissolution of food particles, and motor, secretory, and absorbing functions of the tract are taken into consideration. The paper outlines some results concerning influence of secretory function disorders on food dissolution rate and tract contents acidity. The effect which food density has on inflow of food masses from a stomach to a bowel is analyzed. We assume that the future development of the model will include digestive enzymes and related reactions of lipolysis, proteolysis, and carbohydrates breakdown.

Abstract: The main direction of improving the activity of the Federal Service on Customers' Rights Protection and Human Well-Being Surveillance at the present stage is the implementation of a risk-oriented model, which involves the use of health risk assessment methods for solving a wide range of functional tasks of the Service, classification of supervised objects depending on the degree of threat and risk of harm to life and health of citizens and a differentiated approach to the conduction of regulatory and supervisory activities with concentration on efforts on objects forming unacceptable health risks; introduction of risk assessment methodology in the system for sanitary regulation, systematic approach to the information analysis provision of tasks on the assessment and health risk management, including within the framework of public health monitoring, accounting of indicators of economic efficiency of supervisory activities and health risk management measures.

Abstract: The concept of the triad regulatory metasystem, which includes the neuroendocrine and immune regulation systems, is currently generally accepted. Changes occurring in each of the regulatory systems in response to the impact of technogenic chemical factors are also well known. This paper presents mathematical models of the immune and neuroendocrine system functioning, using the interaction between these systems in response to bacterial invasion as an example, and changes in their performance under exposure to chemical factors, taking into account the stage of functional disorders in a producing organ, using the performance of the bone marrow as an example.

Abstract: Determination of food toxic compounds is one of the significant strategies for investigating food quality. The presence research introduces an electrochemical approach for toxic ractopamine sensing using a gold electrode amplified with gold nanoparticles (Au-Nps/AuME). The oxidation signal of ractopamine was investigated at the surface of Au-Nps/AuME, and results showed a 2.36-fold amplification in current and reducing 100 mV in oxidation potential compare to the pristine gold electrode. The redox reaction of ractopamine shows a pH dependence behavior with two electrons and two protons. Furthermore, the scan rate and chronoamperometric investigation showed a diffusion coefficient of 1.0 × 10−6 cm2/s to the oxidation reaction of ractopamine at the surface of Au-Nps/AuME. Analytical investigation showed a linear dynamic range of 0.1–380 µM for sensing of ractopamine using square wave voltammetric technique. Also, Au-Nps/AuME could be used to measure ractopamine in food samples such as pork samples with a recovery range of 98.3–103.9% and a detection limit of 50 nM.
