TL;DR: In this article, a measuring element of a loading transmitter for testing machines is described, in which the periphery of a metal disc, which is formed geometrically in one piece from two concentric rings and radial webs which form measuring columns arranged between these rings, is provided for connection to the test piece to be tested, by means of radial measuring columns, in that these measuring columns are provided with tensometers on their end faces and their side faces.
Abstract: The invention relates to a measuring element of a loading transmitter for testing machines. It is the object of the invention to measure at the same time the torsional loading and the loading by means of the linear axle force without reciprocal influence of the measured signals on each other. The invention consists in that the periphery of a metal disc, which is formed geometrically in one piece from two concentric rings and radial webs which form measuring columns arranged between these rings, is connected to its middle part, which is provided for connection to the test piece to be tested, by means of radial measuring columns, in that these measuring columns are provided with tensometers on their end faces and their side faces, in that tensometers T1 to T8 mounted on the end faces of the measuring columns are connected in a first bridge whose one branch is always formed by the tensometers mounted on identical end faces of the opposite measuring columns and in that tensometers T9 to T16 mounted on the side surfaces of the measuring columns are connected in a second bridge whose one branch is always formed by the tensometers mounted on the opposite sides of the opposite measuring columns.

The controller unit includes a door having an interior face, a housing with a panel, where the housing and panel define a recessed region configured to receive the interior face of the door, and a manifold receiver fixedly attached to the panel. The base unit has a planar surface for receiving a container of fluid, a scale integrated with the planar surface, a heater in thermal communication with the planar surface, and a sodium sensor in electromagnetic communication with the planar surface. Embodiments of the disclosed portable dialysis system have improved structural and functional features, including improved modularity, ease of use, and safety features.

Abstract: The application is directed to an extracorporeal blood processing system capable of using dialysate to prime the system. A plastic molded compact manifold supports molded blood and dialysate fluidic pathways along with relevant sensors, valves and pumps. The compact manifold is also disposable in one embodiment and can be detachably installed in the dialysis machine. A two-way valve in the manifold is used to direct the dialysate flow through the blood circuit to prime the circuit for use in treatment.

Abstract: A wheel force measuring hub assembly has a measuring value sensor assembly and comprises an exterior ring part and an interior ring part. A wheel rim is attachable on the exterior ring part. The interior ring part is attachable to a wheel axle. Both ring parts are connected with one another by way of radially extending measuring webs on which strain gauges are arranged for determining forces and torques to be measured. The strain gauges are configured to determine the three mutually perpendicular axial occurring forces Fx, Fy and Fz as well as pertaining torques Mx, My and Mz. The strain gauges are arranged, aligned and connected with one another for determining all forces and torques by way of the shearing strains occurring in the case of a load on a wheel being monitored.
