TL;DR: A review of the foreign experience in organizing social dialogue convincingly demonstrates a fairly high level of efficiency in the European Union, which contributes to achieving a balance of interests of major economic actors, increasing their social responsibility as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: The relevance of the paper is determined by the need to modernize social dialogue in Ukraine as a means of increasing the social responsibility of business organizations and a prerequisite for the country’s sustainable socio-economic development. The paper is aimed at reviewing and systematizing effective practices of modernization of social dialogue, which are revealed in the publications of foreign and Ukrainian scientists, high-ranking officials and public figures. These practices are considered from the standpoint of their expediency and the possibility of their implementation in the processes of social interaction of organizations of employees, employers and public authorities in Ukraine.A review of the foreign experience in organizing social dialogue convincingly demonstrates a fairly high level of efficiency in the European Union, which contributes to achieving a balance of interests of major economic actors, increasing their social responsibility. For Ukraine, it is expedient to introduce the European practice of the so-called broad approach to the organization of social dialogue, which provides for the expansion of its subjects at the expense of representatives of territorial entities, environmental, women’s, youth, cultural and other public organizations. The involvement of local governments, public and NGOs in solving the most important socio-economic problems will contribute to the spread of the practice of differentiating between social and public dialogue. In Ukraine, employee participation in corporate governance should be strengthened, access to shareholder income should be expanded, and institutional tools for regulating the collective bargaining process should be improved.

TL;DR: There are four different European social models, each with its own performance in terms of efficiency and equity as discussed by the authors, and the Nordic and the Anglo-Saxon models are both efficient, but only the former manages to combine equity and efficiency.
Abstract: Globalization implies changes that createboth threats and opportunities. The challenge for Europe is to become flexible in order to avail of the opportunities this brings and surmount the threats. This requires reforming labour market and social policies. When thinking about such reforms the notion of a single 'European social model' is largely irrelevant. There are four different European social models, each with its own performance in terms of efficiency and equity. The Nordic and the Anglo-Saxon models are both efficient, but only the former manages to combine equity and efficiency. The Continental and Mediterranean models are inefficient and unsustainable; they must therefore be reformed. © 2000 Blackwell Publishing Ltd.

TL;DR: A conceptual scheme of the interconnection of processes, tasks, and models was developed, which provides the solution of the following main tasks: factor study of development trends, study of the internal environment and potential for key business factors and its development dynamics and implementation of adequate management decisions for increasing systems activity effectiveness as a whole.
Abstract: The paper proposes tools for improving the strategic management system for assessing the processes dynamics and the level of their intensity and non-stationarity by local resource components of industrial enterprise as indicators of organizational and economic development and forecasting its change, as well as determining the structure of the strategic management system of enterprise development with emphasis on its resource communication component that will improve the efficiency of information exchange in the management process in the current context of increased importance of information resources as important elements that provide business entities competitive advantages. In this paper, the complex of models of research of development dynamics of enterprise activity spheres is built, which unlike the existing ones takes into account the non-stationary character of the behavior of these processes. This complex is based on the methods of multidimensional analysis, econometric modeling, decision-making. This complex contains the following steps: formation of the information sets of the company’s indicators in the main activity spheres; research of development dynamics of enterprise activity spheres on the basis of building of local and complex integral indicator of enterprise development level; simulation of non-stationarity dynamics of activity spheres on the bases of building and analysis of ECMV simulation of the enterprise development priorities on the bases of ECM&VAR-models analysis. For improvement of the strategic development management system, a conceptual scheme of the interconnection of processes, tasks, and models was developed, which provides the solution of the following main tasks: factor study of development trends, study of the internal environment and potential for key business factors and its development dynamics and implementation of adequate management decisions for increasing systems activity effectiveness as a whole.

TL;DR: In this paper, the analytical-applied and structural aspects of strategic management of industrial systems development on the bases of assessment and analysis of the potential of their development, the formation and implementation of strategic alternatives in the conditions of external and internal environmental threats are studied.
Abstract: The paper studies analytical-applied and structural aspects of strategic management of industrial systems development on the bases of assessment and analysis of the potential of their development, the formation and implementation of strategic alternatives in the conditions of external and internal environmental threats. We propose to consider the analytical-applied and structural modeling tool as a set of scenario models for formation and implementation of business entities development strategies.
