Proceedings Article

Three-dimensional computer vision: a geometric viewpoint

TL;DR: Results from constrained optimization some results from algebraic geometry differential geometry are shown.
Journal ArticleDOI

A robust technique for matching two uncalibrated images through the recovery of the unknown epipolar geometry

TL;DR: A robust approach to image matching by exploiting the only available geometric constraint, namely, the epipolar constraint, is proposed and a new strategy for updating matches is developed, which only selects those matches having both high matching support and low matching ambiguity.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Statistical shape influence in geodesic active contours

TL;DR: A novel method of incorporating shape information into the image segmentation process is presented, which introduces a representation for deformable shapes and defines a probability distribution over the variances of a set of training shapes.
Book ChapterDOI

Camera Self-Calibration: Theory and Experiments

TL;DR: It is shown, using experiments with noisy data, that it is possible to calibrate a camera just by pointing it at the environment, selecting points of interest and then tracking them in the image as the camera moves.
