Journal ArticleDOI

Thermodynamics of cation (alkali-metal) complexation by 5,11,17,23-tetra- tert -butyl[25,26,27,28-tetrakis(2-pyridylmethyl)oxy]- calix(4)arene and the crystal structure–superstructure of its 1:1 complex with sodium and acetonitrile

TL;DR: In this paper, the interaction of 5,11,17,23,tetra-tert-butyl [25,26,27,28-tetrakis(2-pyridylmethyl)oxy]calix(4)arene 1a with alkali-metal cations in dipolar aprotic media (acetonitrile and benzonitrile) has been investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structural effects and hydrogen bonds on N,N′-di(methoxycarbonylsulfenyl)urea, [CH3OC(O)SNH]2CO, studied by experimental and theoretical methods

TL;DR: In this paper, the crystal structure of [CH 3 OC(O)SNH] 2 CO was determined by X-ray diffraction methods and the properties of the structure were analyzed using a combined approach with data obtained from X-Ray diffraction, vibrational spectra and theoretical calculation methods.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enol-imino-Keto-enamine Tautomerism in a Diazepine Derivative: How Decisive Are the Intermolecular Interactions in the Equilibrium?

TL;DR: The keto-enamino form, in which the keto group integrate a cyclohexadienone moiety and the aromaticity of the phenol is loss, was the only tautomer in the crystal lattice according to single-crystal X-ray diffraction, vibrational spectroscopy, and diffuse reflectance results.
Journal ArticleDOI

Crystal structure and ir-spectrum of lithium citrate monohydrate, li(c6h7o7).h2o

TL;DR: The crystal structure of Li(C6H7O7) and H2O has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffractometry as discussed by the authors, and the structure was solved by direct and Fourier methods and refined to R 1 ǫ = 0.031.
