Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, NMR and X-ray studies on novel heteroaromatic aldoxime O-ether 2- and 2,3-unsaturated glycosides
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present the synthesis of novel hydrolytically stable heteroaromatic oxime ether glycosides in very good yields and high anomeric selectivity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Layered Crystal Structure and Vibrational Spectra of Sodium Trichloromethanesulfonate – An Eperimental and Theoretical Study
TL;DR: In this article, X-ray diffraction of the NaCCl3SO3 was performed and it was shown that it crystallizes in the monoclinic P21/c space group with a = 12.558(5), b = 5.814(3), c = 10.679(5) A, β = 103.76(3)°, and Z = 4.
Journal ArticleDOI
An alternative method for the preparation of 11-derivatized progesterone
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrosynthesis of N-Methylisatin.
Jaime Fernando Martinez Suarez,José Alberto Caram,Gustavo A. Echeverría,Oscar E. Piro,Ana Maria Gennaro,Ana Maria Gennaro,María Virginia Mirífico +6 more
TL;DR: Isatin in a solution of dry N,N-dimethylformamide/NaClO4 is electroreduced in the presence of CH3I and N-methylisatoic anhydride is obtained in quantitative molar yield and high current efficiency by controlled potential electrolysis (CPE).
Journal ArticleDOI
The biocatalytic activity of the “lantern-like” binuclear copper complex with trisulfide bridges mimicking SOD metallo-proteins
Janetsi Y. Caro-Ramirez,Juliana Parente,G Gaddi,N. Martini,Carlos A. Franca,Nora M. Urquiza,Luis Lezama,Oscar E. Piro,Gustavo A. Echeverría,Patricia A.M. Williams,Evelina G. Ferrer +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a trisulfur ligand was used to form a lantern-like binuclear copper(II) complex, which exhibited peroxidase-like activity catalyzing phenol red bromination, the oxidation of pyrogallol, and behaves as a superoxide dismutase mimic compound acting on superoxide anion.
