TL;DR: In this article, U-Pb and Lu-Hf isotopic analyses of different sedimentary sequences of the Ventania System, an old Paleozoic orogenic belt exposed in the southern region of the Rio de la Plata Craton in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, provide new evidence for the understanding of the tectonic evolution of the western sector of the Gondwanides mountain belt.

The Late Carboniferous Glacial to Postglacial Transition: Facies and Sequence Stratigraphy, Western Paganzo Basin, Argentina

TL;DR: In this paper, an integrated sequence stratigraphic and sedimentological analyses of the glacial-postglacial transition are performed in the Paganzo Basin, Argentina, where the authors interpreted the basal deposits as an early transgressive systems tract (ETST) initiated during glacial retreat.
