Induction of differential apoptotic pathways in multiple myeloma cells by class-selective histone deacetylase inhibitors.
Teru Hideshima,Ralph Mazitschek,Loredana Santo,Naoya Mimura,Gullu Gorgun,Paul G. Richardson,Noopur Raje,Kenneth C. Anderson +7 more
TL;DR: Induction of differential apoptotic pathways in multiple myeloma cells by class-selective histone deacetylase inhibitors is shown to be selective for programmed death in these patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
Complete genome sequence of Candidatus Ruthia magnifica.
Guus Roeselers,Guus Roeselers,Irene L. G. Newton,Irene L. G. Newton,Tanja Woyke,Thomas A. Auchtung,Geoffrey F. Dilly,Rachel J. Dutton,Meredith C. Fisher,Kristina M. Fontanez,Evan Lau,Frank J. Stewart,Paul G. Richardson,Kerrie Barry,Elizabeth Saunders,John C. Detter,Dongying Wu,Jonathan A. Eisen,Colleen M. Cavanaugh +18 more
TL;DR: Genes which were predicted to encode the proteins required for all the metabolic pathways typical of free-living chemoautotrophs were detected in the symbiont genome.
Journal ArticleDOI
Impact of concomitant dexamethasone dosing schedule on bortezomib‐induced peripheral neuropathy in multiple myeloma
Shaji Kumar,Jacob P. Laubach,Thomas J. Giove,Maureen Quick,Rachel Neuwirth,Godwin Yung,S. Vincent Rajkumar,Paul G. Richardson +7 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that partnered dexamethasone dosing may result in less severe BiPN compared with alternative dexamethyltestosterone dosing schedules.
Journal ArticleDOI
Incidence of Anicteric Veno-Occlusive Disease/Sinusoidal Obstruction Syndrome and Outcomes With Defibrotide Following Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation in Adult and Pediatric Patients
Selim Corbacioglu,Nancy A. Kernan,Antonio Pagliuca,Robert J. Ryan,William Tappe,Paul G. Richardson +5 more
TL;DR: It is shown that anicteric VOD/SOS occurs in both adult and pediatric patients post-HCT and can be diagnosed before and after Day 21 in both groups, and the worse survival in patients with bilirubin ≥2 mg/dL suggests requiring hyperbilirubinemia may result in a progressed disease stage associated with worse outcomes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Proteomic profiling of naïve multiple myeloma patient plasma cells identifies pathways associated with favourable response to bortezomib-based treatment regimens.
Dominik Dytfeld,Shaun Rosebeck,Malathi Kandarpa,Anoop Mayampurath,Dattatreya Mellacheruvu,Mattina Alonge,Lambert Ngoka,Jagoda Jasielec,Paul G. Richardson,Samuel L. Volchenboum,Alexey I. Nesvizhskii,Arun Sreekumar,Andrzej Jakubowiak +12 more
TL;DR: The results suggest enrichment of ‘universal response’ pathways that are common to both treatment regimens and are probable predictors of favourable response to bortezomib, including a subset of endoplasmic reticulum stress pathways.
