Open Annotation Data Model

TL;DR: The Open Annotation Core Data Model specifies an interoperable framework for creating associations between related resources, annotations, using a methodology that conforms to the Architecture of the World Wide Web.
Journal ArticleDOI

Subglacial Lake Vostok (Antarctica) Accretion Ice Contains a Diverse Set of Sequences from Aquatic, Marine and Sediment-Inhabiting Bacteria and Eukarya

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported metagenomic/metatranscriptomic sequence analyses from four accretion ice sections from the Vostok 5G ice core, including two sections accreted in the vicinity of an embayment on the southwestern end of the lake, and the other two represented part of the southern main basin.
Journal ArticleDOI

Identification and accumulation of isoflavonoids and isoflavone glucosides in soybean leaves and hypocotyls in resistance responses to Phytophthora megasperma f.sp. glycinea.

TL;DR: The general defence response in soybeans involves the induction of several isoflavone biosynthetic pathways, of which only one leads to the glyceollins, which are found in abundance in the lesions themselves.
Proceedings Article

Fast transformation of temporal plans for efficient execution

TL;DR: A new algorithm is presented that uses linear space and has time complexity equivalent to Johnson's algorithm for all-pairs shortest-path problems and can be made minimal in the maximum number of edges incoming or outgoing at any node.
Journal ArticleDOI

Belief in animal mind: does familiarity with animals influence beliefs about animal emotions?

TL;DR: This article found that familiarity with animals is an important determinant of belief about emotions in animals and animal mind in general, and that keeping more than one animal did not increase the number of emotions reported.
