P Brady,Winnie Chua,Frantisek Nehaj,Derek L Connolly,A. M. Abou Khashaba,Yanish Purmah,Muhammad J Ul-Qamar,Mark R Thomas,Chetan Varma,Renate B. Schnabel,Tanja Zeller,Larissa Fabritz,Paulus Kirchhof +12 more
TL;DR: Elevated NT‐proBNP concentrations predict future HF events in patients with AF irrespective of the presence of HF, encouraging routine quantification of NT‐ pro‐B‐type natriuretic peptide in the assessment of patients withAF.
Journal ArticleDOI

Journal ArticleDOI
Training the next generation of cardiovascular leaders in health policy and economics.

Use of mechanical circulatory support in patients with non‐ischaemic cardiogenic shock

TL;DR: In patients with non-ischemic CS, MCS use was associated with lower 30-day mortality as compared to medical therapy only, particularly in patients with a lower ejection fraction, which provides rationale for randomized trials to validate these findings.
