TL;DR: Injection molding of polyethylene terephthalates has been studied in this article, where the authors show that polyester can be injection molded with mold temperatures less than about 120° C and still retain a significant degree of crystallinity.
Abstract: This invention relates to polyalkylene terephthalates which crystallize rapidly, and process of making such compositions and a process of using such compositions in injection molding. The compositions comprise polyalkylene terephthalates with intrinsic viscosities in excess of about 0.4 dl/g in 1:1 phenol/tetrachloroethane at 25° C. and at least about 0.5 wt. %, based on the weight of resin and additive, of an aromatic carboxylic acid ester. These compositions may be prepared by intimately mixing the ingredients, for example by extrusion. These compositions, particularly those wherein the polyester consists essentially of polyethylene terephthalate, may be injection molded with mold temperatures less than about 120° C. and still retain a significant degree of crystallinity even with short mold residence times.

TL;DR: In this paper, a nonvolatile UV-stabilizing mixture for siloxane paint systems, containing hydrolyzable silanes which in turn contain hydroxybenztriazols and epoxide groups, was presented.
Abstract: The invention relates to a non-volatile UV-stabilizing mixture for siloxane paint systems, containing hydrolyzable silanes which in turn contain hydroxybenztriazols and epoxide groups. The resulting UV-stabilized paint systems are particularly suitable for use as anti-UV coatings for thermoplastics, especially aromatic polycarbonates.

TL;DR: A multilayered polymer film includes a first set of optical layers and a second set of polyester layers as mentioned in this paper, which are made from a polyester which is often birefringent.
Abstract: A multilayered polymer film includes a first set of optical layers and a second set of optical layers. The first set of optical layers is made from a polyester which is often birefringent. The polyesters of the first set of optical layers typically have a composition in which 70-100 mol % of the carboxylate subunits are first carboxylate subunits and 0-30 mol % are comonomer carboxylate subunits and 70 to 100 mol % of the glycol subunits are first glycol subunits and 0 to 30 mol % of the glycol subunits are comonomer glycol subunits, where at least 0.5 mol % of the combined carboxylate and glycol subunits are comonomer carboxylate or comonomer glycol subunits. The multilayered polymer film may be used to form, for example, a reflective polarizer or a mirror.

TL;DR: In this paper, a memory module, which includes at least one memory stack, comprises a plurality of DRAM integrated circuits and an interface circuit, and the interface circuit interfaces the memory stack to a host system so as to operate memory stack as a single DIMM integrated circuit.
Abstract: A memory module, which includes at least one memory stack, comprises a plurality of DRAM integrated circuits and an interface circuit. The interface circuit interfaces the memory stack to a host system so as to operate the memory stack as a single DRAM integrated circuit. In other embodiments, a memory module includes at least one memory stack and a buffer integrated circuit. The buffer integrated circuit, coupled to a host system, interfaces the memory stack to the host system so to operate the memory stack as at least two DRAM integrated circuits. In yet other embodiments, the buffer circuit interfaces the memory stack to the host system for transforming one or more physical parameters between the DRAM integrated circuits and the host system.

TL;DR: In this article, a method for producing a multilayer molded article in which an skin material having nap on the outer surface thereof is integrally molded with a substrate of a synthetic resin, using a mold comprising a pair of male and female mold halves.
Abstract: A method for producing a multilayer molded article in which an skin material having nap on the outer surface thereof is integrally molded with a substrate of a synthetic resin, using a mold comprising a pair of male and female mold halves. In this method, after the fabric skin material and the molten resin are clamped in the mold and primary cooling is carried out, the mold is opened halfway to form a predetermined gap between the mold halves, and the molten synthetic resin undergoes secondary cooling and hardens while the mold is held in the half-open state. In the present invention, the time period for the operation to open the mold halfway is set at one second or less. By limiting the half-opening operation time period to the short period of one second or less, recovery of the nap is reliably achieved without the nap tending to stay flattened. Moreover, because the transition from the primary cooling step to the secondary cooling step occurs in a short period of time, problems such as inadequate cooling of the molten synthetic resin do not occur.
