High-Redshift Supernovae in the Hubble Deep Field

TL;DR: In this article, two supernovae detected in the Hubble Deep Field (HDF) using the original 1995 December epoch and data from a shorter (63,000 s in F814W) 1997 December visit with {ital HST} are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spectra of hydrogen-poor superluminous Supernovae from the Palomar Transient Factory

TL;DR: In this paper, the average spectral properties of superluminous supernovae at different spectral phases were discussed, and it was shown that Mn ii most probably contributes to the ultraviolet spectral features after maximum light and gave a detailed study of the O ii features that often characterize the early-time optical spectra of SLSNe-I.
Journal ArticleDOI

The La Silla-QUEST Low Redshift Supernova Survey

TL;DR: The La Silla-QUEST Low Redshift Supernova Survey (LS-QUEST) as mentioned in this paper is a part of the Southern Hemisphere Variability Survey (SVSS), which uses the 10-deg210-deg2 QUEST camera installed at the prime focus of the 1.0m Schmidt Telescope of the European Southern Observatory (ESO).
