Structure, mechanical, electronic and thermodynamic properties of Mo5Si3 from first-principles calculations

TL;DR: In this paper, the crystal structure, elastic properties, Vickers hardness, elastic anisotropy, electronic and thermodynamic properties of transition metal silicides are investigated by using the first-principles calculations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of alloying elements on the structural stability, elastic, hardness and thermodynamic properties of Mo5SiB2 from first-principles calculations

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of transition metals on the structural stability, mechanical and thermodynamics properties of Mo5SiB2 is studied by the first-principles calculations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ge-vacancy improved the optical and electronic properties of GeAs2 semiconductor

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of Ge-vacancy on the structure, optical and electronic properties of GeAs2 with two Ge vacancies is investigated. And the results show that V-Ge1-vaccancy is more thermodynamically stable than that of V- Ge2-vachancy.
