Mimusops elengi bark extract mediated green synthesis of gold nanoparticles and study of its catalytic activity
TL;DR: In this paper, the use of the bark extract of Mimusops elengi for the green synthesis of gold nanoparticles in water at room temperature under very mild conditions was shown.
Journal ArticleDOI
Binding of naringin and naringenin with hen egg white lysozyme: A spectroscopic investigation and molecular docking study
TL;DR: The interactions of naringenin (NG) and naringin (NR) with Hen Egg White Lysozyme (HEWL) in aqueous medium have been investigated using UV-vis spectroscopy, steady-state fluorescence, circular dichroism, Fourier Transform infraredSpectroscopy (FT-IR) and molecular docking analyses.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preparation of albumin based nanoparticles for delivery of fisetin and evaluation of its cytotoxic activity.
Pooja Ghosh,Atanu Singha Roy,Susmitnarayan Chaudhury,Saikat Jana,Koel Chaudhury,Swagata Dasgupta +5 more
TL;DR: The findings suggest that fisetin loaded HSA nanoparticles could be used to transfer fisETin to target areas under specific conditions and thus may find use as a delivery vehicle for the flavonoid.
Journal ArticleDOI
Modulation of Amyloid Protein Fibrillation by Synthetic Polymers: Recent Advances in the Context of Neurodegenerative Diseases
Pooja Ghosh,Priyadarsi De +1 more
TL;DR: The primary focus of this review article is to delineate the obligatory role of polymeric materials on protein aggregation pathway and encourage researchers to fabricate effectivepolymeric materials for designing next generation antiamyloidogenic therapeutic agents.
Journal ArticleDOI
Solubility enhancement of morin and epicatechin through encapsulation in an albumin based nanoparticulate system and their anticancer activity against the MDA-MB-468 breast cancer cell line
Pooja Ghosh,Sudipta Bag,Atanu Singha Roy,Elavarasan Subramani,Koel Chaudhury,Swagata Dasgupta +5 more
TL;DR: The results show that the nanoparticles are capable of destroying the cancer cells more potently than morin/epicatechin alone, and this result is likely to facilitate an understanding of how to enhance the delivery of flavonoids like morin and epicatechin by encapsulation.
