TL;DR: In this article, the authors report the results of a study of charged B decays to the D(+/-)pi(-/+)pi(n) and D(*) final states using complete D-(*) reconstruction.
Abstract: We report the results of a study of charged B decays to the D(+/-)pi(-/+)pi(-/+) and D(*+/-)pi(-/+)pi(-/+) final states using complete D-(*) reconstruction. The contributions of two-body B-->D**pi decays with narrow (j=3/2) and broad (j=1/2) D** states have been determined and the masses and widths of four D** states have been measured. This is the first observation of the broad P-wave D-0*(0) and D'(0)(1) mesons. The analysis is based on a data sample of 65 million B(B) over bar pairs collected in the Belle experiment.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors report results of a study of charmless B meson decays to three-body Kππ, KKππ and KKK final states.
Abstract: We report results of a study of charmless B meson decays to three-body Kππ, KKπ and KKK final states. Measurements of branching fractions for B decays to K=+(0)π+π-, K +K+K-, K0K+K-, K+Ks 0Ks 0 and K s 0Ks 0Ks 0 final states are presented. The decays B0→K0K +K-, B+→K+Ks 0Ks 0 and B0→Ks 0Ks 0Ks 0 are observed for the first time. We also report evidence for B+→K +K-π+ decay. For the three-body final states K0K+π-, Ks 0K s 0π+, K+K+π - and K-π+π+, 90% confidence level upper limits are reported. Finally, we discuss the possibility of using the three-body B0→Ks 0K+K - decay for CP violation studies. The results are obtained with a 78 fb-1 data sample collected at the Y(4S) resonance by the Belle detector operating at the KEKB asymmetric energy e+e- collider. © 2004 The American Physical Society.

TL;DR: In this paper, the first four moments of the hadronic mass distribution in {bar B} {yields} X{sub c}{ell}{sup -} {bar {nu}} decays are reported.
Abstract: We report a measurement of the first four moments of the hadronic mass distribution in {bar B} {yields} X{sub c}{ell}{sup -} {bar {nu}} decays. The measurements are based on 89 million {Upsilon}(4S) {yields} B{bar B} events where the hadronic decay of one of the B mesons is fully reconstructed and a charged lepton from the decay of the other B meson is identified. The moments are presented for minimum lepton momenta ranging from 0.9 to 1.6 GeV in the B rest frame. It is expected that such measurements will lead to improved determinations of |V{sub cb}| and |V{sub ub}|.

TL;DR: The radiative decay B-->phi K gamma is observed for the first time and the photon energy distribution for the B--->phi K- gamma decay is presented.
Abstract: The radiative decay B-->phi K gamma is observed for the first time. The branching fraction for the charged B--->phi K- gamma decay mode is measured to be B(B--->phi K- gamma)=(3.4+/-0.9+/-0.4)x10(-6). The photon energy distribution for the B--->phi K- gamma decay is presented. The signal for the neutral B(0)-->phi K(0)gamma decay mode is not statistically significant and an upper limit, B(B(0)-->phi K(0)gamma)<8.3x10(-6) at 90% C.L., is set. The analysis is based on a data set of 90 fb(-1) collected by the Belle experiment at the e(+)e(-) asymmetric collider KEKB.

TL;DR: Measurements of branching fractions and CP-violating asymmetries in decays of B mesons to two-body final states containing a K0.
Abstract: We present measurements of branching fractions and \CP-violating asymmetries in decays of $B$ mesons to two-body final states containing a \Kz. The results are based on a data sample of approximately 88 million \upsbb decays collected with the \babar detector at the \pep2 asymmetric-energy $B$ Factory at SLAC. We measure $\BR(\Bp\to\Kz\pip) = (22.3 \pm 1.7 \pm 1.1)\times 10^{-6}$, $\BR(\Bz\to\Kz\piz) = (11.4\pm 1.7\pm 0.8)\times 10^{-6}$, $\BR(\Bp\to\Kzb\Kp) < 2.5\times 10^{-6}$, and $\BR(\Bz\to\KzKzb) < 1.8\times 10^{-6}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic, and the upper limits are at the 90% confidence level. In addition, the following \CP-violating asymmetries have been measured: ${\cal A}_{CP}(\Bp\to\Kz\pip) = -0.05 \pm 0.08 \pm 0.01$ and ${\cal A}_{CP}(\Bz\to\Kz\piz) = 0.03 \pm 0.36\pm 0.11$.
