Design and analysis of flow measurement of conductive liquid and transmission via optical channel

TL;DR: In this article, a simple flow sensing system for a conducting liquid is proposed and this system does not require any electromagnet and involves very low cost and also in modern instrumentation system the signal transmission through optical communication system is being more preferred where the transmitted signal does not suffer from measurement error due to electromagnetic interference.
Journal ArticleDOI

Design Analysis of Wireless Pressure Measurement by Integrating Surface Acoustic Wave Sensor With Bourdon Tube

TL;DR: In this article, a modified wireless pressure measurement system using Bourdon tube as a primary sensor has been proposed by integrating the surface acoustic wave (SAW) sensor with the Bourdon tubes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Design and Analysis of an Electro-Optic Type Pressure Transmitter Using Bellows as Primary Sensor

TL;DR: In this paper, a combination of a Bellows and a Mach-Zehnder Interferometer (MZI)-based pressure transmitting system has been proposed, which is capable to transmit pressure reading to a remote location using an electro-optic modulation in the MZI.
Journal ArticleDOI

A novel technique on MZI based electro-optic type pressure transmitter using modified bourdon tube

TL;DR: In this paper, a modified bourdon tube has been proposed which is capable to transmit the measured pressure information via optical domain by employing the method of electro-optic effect in Mach-Zehnder interferometers (MZI).
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Development of a Smart Rotameter with Intelligent Temperature Compensation

TL;DR: An intelligent inductive pickup type flow transducer using rotameter is developed with temperature compensation with different ANN (Artifical neural network) algorithm scheme used for compensating the temperature influence in the modified rotameters.
