TL;DR: In this paper, a fermented soybeans view node-link connection 1 is started, for example, the default values of the user are selected as noticed nodes 3 and 4. FIFO for controlling the view 1 from an external program is opened.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minutely observe a specified node by arranging nodes being information units on a two-dimensional plane, linking them, raising the two-dimensional plane and developing it on a three-dimensional space. SOLUTION: The nodes being the information units are arranged on the two-dimensional plane and they are linked. The specified node in the nodes on the two-dimensional lane are raised and it is set to be a three-dimensional model. When a fermented soybeans view node-link connection 1 is started, for example, the default values of the user are selected as noticed nodes 3 and 4. When the noticed nodes 3 and 4 are raised, nodes 5-8 connected to them are raised. FIFO for controlling the view 1 from an external program is opened. The view 1 requests the acquirement of link information near the noticed nodes to a mapped system server link manager. Link information is analyzed and 'fermented soybeans view' is displayed based on a response from the link manager.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method for recognizing the type of each slip input to a transaction terminal and performing each validity check according to the recognition result, a warning is output according to result.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficient processing using a plurality of slips, when a plurality of transactions through ATM or the like is collectively performed, and confirm the validity of each transaction particularly even if a plurality of slips is mixed. SOLUTION: In the method for recognizing the type of each slip input to a transaction terminal and performing each validity check according to the recognition result, a warning is output according to the result. The method also includes performing control so as to accept an answer to the warning from a terminal (transaction terminal) operated by a transaction applicant even if operation is performed by an agent's terminal (bank staff terminal). Further, after each validity check according to the recognition result, comparison with past transaction patterns is performed, and a warning is output according to the result. In this case, also, the control may be performed to receive an answer to the warning from the terminal of the transaction applicant. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT

TL;DR: In this paper, a teacher is asked to solve a problem in which it is difficult for a teacher to give hints and explanations beforehand for all problems although high educational effects are obtained by implementing many problems in an education method like case study.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which it is difficult for a teacher to give hints and explanations beforehand for all problems although high educational effects are obtained by implementing many problems in an education method like case study. SOLUTION: In an exercise wherein a plurality of learners try to solve one problem, a place in the problem to which a fixed number of learners give annotations is detected and the place is shown as a hint to learners who do not give annotations to the place. A place to which only a small number of learners give annotations is detected and judged as a place which learners less understand or a place which is misunderstood, and the place is presented to the teacher. TL;DR: In this article, a graphical user interface for an information mediation system is provided for assisting the user to discover an information source that matches a sense of value of the user which normally can not be expressed in language, from a plurality of information sources such as bulletin board sites.
Abstract: A graphical user interface for an information mediation system is provided for assisting the user to discover an information source that matches a sense of value of the user which normally can not be explicitly expressed in language, from a plurality of information sources such as bulletin board sites. The information mediation apparatus collects information from the plurality of information sources, analyzes the information, and generates one or more guideposts corresponding to information values thereof and data indicating a correlation between the plurality of information sources relative to the guideposts. A client apparatus receives one or more guideposts and a set of data containing information indicating the correlation of the information sources relative to the guidepost from the information mediation apparatus, and displays the correlation between these information sources in such a mode that the user can easily understand.

TL;DR: In this article, an icon representative of a theme assigned to each axis is arranged so as to form an enclosure about the edge of the round table, and icons representative of documents are arranged in positions determined by the degree of association of each document with each theme and by the attraction of each theme.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display presence/absence of association of an element (a thing, a person, a concept or the like) with an element explicitly for an operator. SOLUTION: In a round table view, a center circle or the center of the round table is the origin, from which a plurality of axes (eight ones at 45° intervals in this example) extend radially. Outside the point of intersection of each axis and the circle, an icon representative of a theme assigned to each axis is arranged so as to form an enclosure about the edge of the round table. On the round table, icons representative of documents are arranged in positions determined by the degree of association of each document with each theme and by the attraction of each theme. When the circle encircling, for example, 'global warming' is dragged to strength the attraction, only the icons of the documents B to D associated (a nonzero degree of association) with the theme out of the documents on the round table are moved on the round table in an arc where they are gradually attracted to the icon of the theme.
