Fuel-rich, catalytic reaction experimental results

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors show that a reaction product gas, rich in hydrogen, carbon monoxide, and light-end hydrocarbons, is formed when flowing 0.3 to 0.6 fuel to air mixes through a catalyst reactor.

Combustion characteristics of gas turbine alternative fuels

TL;DR: In this paper, a flame tube combustor modified to duplicate an advanced gas turbine engine combustor was used for the tests, and the synthetic fuels were reacted in the combustor such that for most tests their performance was as good, if not better, than the baseline gasoline or diesel fuel tests.

Safety considerations in testing a fuel-rich aeropropulsion gas generator

TL;DR: In this paper, a fuel-rich mixture of Jet A fuel and hot input air is tested using a catalyst containing reactor, which is a gaseous fuel that can be utilized in aeropropulsion gas turbine engines.
