Jnaneswari,Dinesh Negi,M. K. Raju,T. Trivedi,R. K. Bhowmik +34 more
TL;DR: A 4 π multi-detector gamma-ray spectrometer named the Indian National Gamma Array (INGA) has been set up at the Inter University Accelerator Centre, New Delhi, for nuclear structure studies as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Probing of incomplete fusion dynamics by spin-distribution measurement
Pushpendra Singh,B. P. Singh,Manoj Kumar Sharma,Unnati Gupta,Rakesh Kumar,Devendra Singh,Rajeev Singh,S. Murlithar,M. A. Ansari,R. Prasad,R. K. Bhowmik +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the mean value of driving input angular momenta associated with various direct- α/2 α x n -channels have been found to be higher than that observed for fusion-evaporation x n/α x n-channels, and increases with direct-α-multiplicity in forward cone.
Journal ArticleDOI
Large influence of incomplete fusion in 12 C + 159 Tb at E lab ≈4-7 MeV/nucleon
Abhishek Yadav,Vijay R. Sharma,Pushpendra Singh,Devendra Singh,Manoj K. Sharma,Unnati Gupta,R. Kumar,B. P. Singh,R. Prasad,R. K. Bhowmik +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the excitation functions of individual reaction channels have been measured using off-line spectroscopy, and analyzed in the framework of statistical model code pace4 based on the concept of equilibrated compound nucleus decay.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evidence of antimagnetic rotation in odd-A Cd-105
D. Choudhury,Ashok Kumar Jain,Monika Patial,N. C. Gupta,P. Arumugam,A. Dhal,Rakesh Kumar Sinha,L. Chaturvedi,P. K. Joshi,T. Trivedi,R. Palit,S. Kumar,R. B. Garg,S.K. Mandal,Dinesh Negi,G. Mohanto,S. Muralithar,R. P. Singh,N. Madhavan,R. K. Bhowmik,S. C. Pancholi +20 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the lifetime of the levels above spin $23/{2}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ in the negative-parity yrast band of $^{105}mathrm{Cd}$ have been measured using the Doppler shift attenuation method.
Journal ArticleDOI
Observation of antimagnetic rotation in **108Cd
P. Datta,Sukalyan Chattopadhyay,Sudeb Bhattacharya,T. K. Ghosh,Anindya Goswami,Subrata Pal,M. Saha Sarkar,H. C. Jain,P. K. Joshi,R. K. Bhowmik,Ramesh Kumar,N. Madhavan,S. Muralithar,P. V. Madhusudhana Rao,R. P. Singh +14 more
TL;DR: In this article, the lifetime of the positive parity yrast band was measured using the Doppler shift attenuation method and the evaluated B(E2) values from the measured lifetimes have been compared with the calculated values calculated using the semiclassical model, which assume shears mechanism, and the values obtained from total Routhian surface calculations.
