TL;DR: An exact similarity solution has been obtained for the magnetohydrodynamic squeeze flow between two parallel disks with suction or injection at the porous disk in this paper, where the effect of injection is to increase the load carrying capacity and it is the reverse in the case of suction.
Abstract: An exact similarity solution has been obtained for the magnetohydrodynamic squeeze flow between two parallel disks with suction or injection at the porous disk. The disks, at time t*, are spaced a distance H(1 - α*) 1/2 apart and a magnetic field proportional to B 0 (1 - αt*) -1/2 is applied perpendicular to the disks. Approximate analytic solutions are given and a numerical solution to the resulting nonlinear ordinary differential equation is obtained. The effects of magnetic forces on the velocity profiles and on the normal forces which the fluid exerts on the disks with suction or injection on the stationary porous disk are studied. It has been found that the effect of injection is to increase the load carrying capacity and it is the reverse in the case of suction.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the effect of injection on the load carrying capacity of hydromagnetic squeeze flow between two parallel disks with injection at the lower porous disk in the presence of a magnetic field applied perpendicular to the disk.
Abstract: The squeeze flow of an electrically conducting fluid between two parallel disks with injection at the lower porous disk in the presence of a magnetic field applied perpendicular to the disk is investigated. Analytic solutions are obtained through the use of a regular perturbation scheme. The results show that the effect of injection is to increase the load carrying capacity in the hydromagnetic squeeze film and this increase is more than that observed without injection.
