Ab initio conformational analysis of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline and the high-resolution rotational spectrum of its lowest energy conformer

TL;DR: High-resolution microwave spectroscopy was used to determine the precise molecular structures of the conformers of THQ, and the experimentally evaluated molecular constants unambiguously define the lowest energy conformer of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline.
Journal ArticleDOI

Microwave spectrum and molecular constants of indole

TL;DR: In this paper, the microwave spectra of the organic compounds of scent could be useful for the identification of people, but a database of spectrum of scent molecules needs to be created first. And the spectrum of indole, that is among the human scent molecules, was measured in the frequency range of 7.5-19 GHz under the conditions of supersonic expansion in a Fourier Transform Microwave Spectrometer (FTMW) with a Fabry-Perot resonator.
Journal ArticleDOI

Microwave Spectroscopy of Planar and Quasi-planar Organic Molecules: Indole and 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline

TL;DR: In this paper, 3179 and 3813 rotational transition frequencies for indole and 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline were analyzed using the PGOPHER software.
