Prolonged Tpeak-to-Tend Interval on the Resting ECG Is Associated With Increased Risk of Sudden Cardiac Death
Ragesh Panikkath,Kyndaron Reinier,Audrey Uy-Evanado,Carmen Teodorescu,Jonathan Hattenhauer,Ronald Mariani,Karen Gunson,Jonathan Jui,Sumeet S. Chugh +8 more
TL;DR: In the ongoing Oregon Sudden unexpected death (SUD) study as mentioned in this paper, TpTe and other ECG predictors were evaluated in the ongoing Portland SUD study based in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area using a case-control design.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prospective evaluation of feasibility and electrophysiologic and echocardiographic characteristics of left bundle branch area pacing
Pugazhendhi Vijayaraman,Faiz A. Subzposh,Angela Naperkowski,Ragesh Panikkath,Kaitlyn John,Vernon Mascarenhas,Terry D. Bauch,Weijian Huang +7 more
TL;DR: HBP and LBBAP may significantly increase the overall success of physiologic pacing and be feasible in a high percentage of patients with low thresholds during acute follow-up.
Journal ArticleDOI
Antibiotic-induced cardiac arrhythmias.
Elsayed Abo-Salem,John C. Fowler,Mehran Attari,Craig D. Cox,Alejandro Perez-Verdia,Ragesh Panikkath,Kenneth Nugent +6 more
TL;DR: The use of macrolides and fluoroquinolones antibiotics in the appropriate settings of infection should not be altered because of the rare risk of TdP, except among cases with high-risk factors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Clinical Outcomes of Selective Versus Nonselective His Bundle Pacing.
Dominik Beer,Parikshit S. Sharma,Faiz A. Subzposh,Angela Naperkowski,Grzegorz M. Pietrasik,Brendan Durr,Maria Qureshi,Ragesh Panikkath,Mohamed Abdelrahman,Brent A. Williams,Jillian L. Hanifin,Ryan Zimberg,Kelly Austin,Brooke Macuch,Richard G. Trohman,Erin A. Vanenkevort,Gopi Dandamudi,Pugazhendhi Vijayaraman +17 more
TL;DR: Nonselective His bundle pacing was associated with similar outcomes of death or heart failure hospitalization when compared with selective HBP, and subgroup analyses of patients at greatest risk revealed no incremental risk with NS-HBP.
Journal ArticleDOI
Idiopathic intracranial hypertension: ongoing clinical challenges and future prospects
TL;DR: The efficacy and complications of cerebrospinal fluid diversion, optic nerve sheath fenestration, and endovascular venous stenting reported in the last 3 decades have been summarized in this review.
