Overexpression of AtDREB1D transcription factor improves drought tolerance in soybean.

TL;DR: The results demonstrate the feasibility of engineering soybean for enhanced drought tolerance by expressing stress-responsive genes and transgenic plants showed differential drought tolerance responses with a significantly higher survival rate compared to non-transgenic plants when subjected to comparable severe water-deficit conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Biocatalysts for multicomponent Biginelli reaction: bovine serum albumin triggered waste-free synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-(1H)-ones.

TL;DR: Bovine serum albumin promoted simple and efficient one-pot procedure was developed for the direct synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones including potent mitotic kinesin Eg5 inhibitor monastrol under mild reaction conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phyllodes tumors with and without fibroadenoma-like areas display distinct genomic features and may evolve through distinct pathways

TL;DR: The data suggest that the development of phyllode tumors might follow two different evolutionary pathways: a MED12-mutant pathway that involves the progression from a fibroadenoma to a malignant phyllodes tumor; and a MED 12-wild-type pathway, where malignantPhyllodes tumors arise de novo through the acquisition of genetic alterations targeting cancer genes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Erratum: Measurement of azimuthal asymmetries in inclusive production of hadron pairs in e+e− annihilation at s=10.58 GeV [Phys. Rev. D 78 , 032011 (2008)]

TL;DR: In this paper, it was found in Monte Carlo simulations that the reconstructed A₀ results are roughly consistent with the generated asymmetries, while the A ₁₂ results systematically underestimate the generated A∆ results.
Journal ArticleDOI

Vitamin D and calcium hormones in pregnancy

TL;DR: Well before the major fetal ossification of late pregnancy, intestinal absorption of calcium is enhanced in the mother and her bone mass increases, a unique event in .
