Antioxidant activity of whey protein hydrolysates in milk beverage system.

TL;DR: The result suggests that WPH could be used as natural biofunctional ingredients in enhancing antioxidant properties of food products and may contribute for the antioxidant activity.
Journal ArticleDOI

The characterization of Virgo data and its impact on gravitational-wave searches

J. Aasi, +800 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present examples from the joint LIGO-GEO-Virgo GW searches to show how well noise transients and narrow spectral lines have been identified and excluded from the Virgo data.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

SLAM2: static driver verification with under 4% false alarms

TL;DR: Advances in the SLAM analysis engine, which implements CEGAR for C programs using predicate abstraction, that greatly reduce the false alarm rate are reported on.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cryptanalysis and Improvement of `A Privacy Enhanced Scheme for Telecare Medical Information Systems'

TL;DR: This work proposes an improved scheme free from problems observed in Jiang et al.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cu2+ and CN−-selective fluorogenic sensors based on pyrene-appended thiacalix[4]arenes

TL;DR: In this paper, two new fluorescent sensors based on thiacalix[4]arenes bearing pyrene moieties have been synthesized in cone conformation, and the binding abilities of these sensors towards different cations such as lithium, sodium, potassium, nickel, cadmium, copper, zinc, lead, silver, mercury and anions like fluoride, chloride, bromide, iodide, cyanide, acetate, hydrogen sulfate and nitrate have been examined by UV-vis and fluorescence spectroscopies.
