Graphene decorated with MoS2 nanosheets: a synergetic energy storage composite electrode for supercapacitor applications

TL;DR: The experimental results demonstrated that the MoS2/G composite is a promising electrode material for high-performance supercapacitors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced Photocatalytic Performance of the Graphene-V2O5 Nanocomposite in the Degradation of Methylene Blue Dye under Direct Sunlight.

TL;DR: The mechanism of methylene blue dye degradation by the G-V2O5 nanocomposite has been elucidated through the kinetics of the degradation process by calculating the rate constant and half-life time of the degrade process.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and characterization of boron doped graphene nanosheets for supercapacitor applications

TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of boron-doped graphene nanosheets was analyzed in a cyclic Voltammetry (CV) study and the results indicated the superior electrochemical performance of HB-GNS.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of cobalt doping on the structural and optical properties of TiO2 films prepared by sol–gel process

TL;DR: In this paper, the structural and optical properties of pure and cobalt doped titanium dioxide thin films have been systematically studied by Rutherford backscattering, X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and spectroscopic ellipsometry methods.
Journal ArticleDOI

Growth and characterization of zinc thiourea chloride (ZTC): a semiorganic nonlinear optical crystal

TL;DR: Growth of bulk zinc thiourea chloride single crystals from aqueous solution by solution growth technique is reported in this article, where it has been found that the solution pH influences the growth rate of the crystal along [0 0 1] and [0 1 0] directions.
