The major genetic determinants of HIV-1 control affect HLA class I peptide presentation

Florencia Pereyra, +336 more
- 10 Dec 2010 -
TL;DR: Differences in binding to viral peptide antigens by HLA may be the major factors underlying genetic differences between HIV controllers and progressors, and genome-wide association results implicate the nature of the HLA–viral peptide interaction as the major factor modulating durable control of HIV infection.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cholecystokinin bioactivity in human plasma. Molecular forms, responses to feeding, and relationship to gallbladder contraction.

TL;DR: CCK can be bioassayed in fasting and postprandial human plasma and the studies suggest that CCK may be an important regulator of gallbladder contraction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Rapid response to COVID-19: health informatics support for outbreak management in an academic health system.

TL;DR: The design and implementation of EHR-based rapid screening processes, laboratory testing, clinical decision support, reporting tools, and patient-facing technology related to COVID-19 are outlined.
