TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe a method for counting the number of devices for determining a type of signals, where a first device receives, from a second device, a first configuration associated with an event to trigger transmission of a counting signal from the first device to the second device.
Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for counting of devices. In example embodiments, a first device receives, from a second device, a first configuration associated with an event to trigger transmission of a counting signal from the first device to the second device. When the event occurs, the first device transmits, to the second device, at least the counting signal to enable the second device to count the number of devices for determining a type of signals.

TL;DR: In this article, a scheduling grant for a first number, M, of transport blocks, is provided, where the scheduling grant comprises an indication of a second number, N, to be transmitted or received before a time delay, wherein M is greater than 1 and N is less than or equal to M, causing transmission or reception of a first group of N transport blocks.
Abstract: There is provided an apparatus, said apparatus comprising means for receiving, at a user equipment, a scheduling grant for a first number, M, of transport blocks, wherein the scheduling grant comprises an indication of a second number, N, of transport blocks to be transmitted or received before a time delay, wherein M is greater than 1 and N is less than or equal to M, causing transmission or reception of a first group of N transport blocks and, if N is less than M, after the time delay, causing transmission or reception of a further group of up to N transport blocks followed by the time delay, until M transport blocks are caused to be transmitted or received.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe a system in which a first device receives, from a second device, an indication of a reference bandwidth and at least one frequency offset of a first set of narrowbands with respect to a second set associated with the reference bandwidth.
Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of extended bandwidth allocation. In example embodiments, a first device receives, from a second device, an indication of a reference bandwidth. The first device receives, from the second device, an indication of a bandwidth extended from the reference bandwidth and receives, from the second device, an indication of at least one frequency offset of a first set of narrowbands with respect to a second set of narrowbands associated with the reference bandwidth. Then, the first device determines, based on the reference bandwidth, the extended bandwidth and the at least one frequency offset, the first set of narrowbands for communication with the second device.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a method, device, apparatus and computer readable storage media for higher layer acknowledgement in a pre-configured uplink resource, where a first device transmits data to a second device on a preconfigured UL resource, and the first device receives the high layer ACK/NACK from the second device based on the obtained information.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to method, device, apparatus and computer readable storage media for higher layer acknowledgement. A first device transmits data to a second device on a preconfigured uplink resource. The first device monitor physical layer ACK/NACK concerning the transmitted data. The first device obtains information for high layer ACK/NACK based on the monitoring of the physical layer ACK/NACK. The first device receives the high layer ACK/NACK from the second device based on the obtained information.

TL;DR: In this article, a first device determines, based on the first scheduling indication, whether a detection associated with the transmission is to be performed in a different second time and frequency resource.
Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of resource rescheduling for transmission. In example embodiments, a first device detects, in a first time and frequency resource, at least a first scheduling indication for transmission from a second device. The first device determines, based on the first scheduling indication, whether a detection associated with the transmission is to be performed in a different second time and frequency resource. If it is determined that the detection is to be performed in the second time and frequency resource, the first device detects, in the second time and frequency resource, at least one of the transmission or a second scheduling indication for the transmission.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe a transport block size (TBS) configuration in which a terminal device transmits a preamble to a network device and receives a random access response from the network device.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices and computer readable storage medium for transport block size (TBS) configuration. In example embodiments, a terminal device transmits a random access preamble to a network device. The terminal device receives a random access response from the network device. The random access response includes a resource allocated for a reference TBS. Based on the reference TBS, the terminal device determines a TBS for transmitting data to the network device. Then, the terminal device transmits the data to the network device by using the determined TBS and the allocated resource. This TBS configuration is more flexible.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present an enhanced link budget procedure for initial access, where the network device transmits configuration of random access channel and the terminal device determines the coverage enhancement and power boosting based on the configuration and measured power.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to enhanced link budget procedure for initial access. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the network device transmits configuration of random access channel and the terminal device determines the coverage enhancement and power boosting based on the configuration and measured power. Thus, collision among terminal devices is reduced.
