Exosomal PD-L1 Contributes to Immunosuppression and is Associated with anti-PD-1 Response
Chen Gang,Alexander C. Huang,Wei Zhang,Wei Zhang,Gao Zhang,Wu Min,Wei Xu,Zi-Li Yu,Jiegang Yang,Jiegang Yang,Beike Wang,Beike Wang,Honghong Sun,Hou-Fu Xia,Qiwen Man,Wenqun Zhong,Wenqun Zhong,Leonardo F. Antelo,Bin Wu,Xuepeng Xiong,Xiaoming Liu,Lei Guan,Lei Guan,Ting Li,Ting Li,Shujing Liu,Ruifeng Yang,Youtao Lu,Liyun Dong,Suzanne McGettigan,Rajasekharan Somasundaram,Ravi Radhakrishnan,Gordon B. Mills,Yiling Lu,Junhyong Kim,Youhai H. Chen,Haidong Dong,Yi-Fang Zhao,Giorgos C. Karakousis,Tara C. Mitchell,Lynn M. Schuchter,Meenhard Herlyn,E. John Wherry,Xiaowei Xu,Wei Guo +44 more
TL;DR: It is reported that metastatic melanomas release extracellular vesicles, mostly in the form of exosomes, that carry PD-L1 on their surface, suggesting a mechanism by which tumours could evade the immunesystem, and the potential application ofExosomal PD- L1 to monitor patient responses to checkpoint therapies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Phase separation in confined systems
TL;DR: A review of the current state of knowledge of phase separation and phase equilibria in porous materials can be found in this article, where the focus is on fundamental studies of simple fluids and well-characterized materials.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of confinement on freezing and melting.
Christiane Alba-Simionesco,Benoit Coasne,Gilberte Dosseh,G. Dudziak,Keith E. Gubbins,Ravi Radhakrishnan,Malgorzata Sliwinska-Bartkowiak +6 more
TL;DR: Both simple and more complex adsorbates that are confined in various environments (slit or cylindrical pores and also disordered porous materials) are considered and how confinement affects the glass transition is addressed.
Journal ArticleDOI
ErbB3/HER3 intracellular domain is competent to bind ATP and catalyze autophosphorylation
TL;DR: It is reported here that, despite sequence alterations, ErbB3 retains sufficient kinase activity to robustly trans-autophosphorylate its intracellular region—although it is substantially less active than EGFR and does not phosphorylate exogenous peptides.
Journal ArticleDOI
ALK mutations confer differential oncogenic activation and sensitivity to ALK inhibition therapy in neuroblastoma
Scott C. Bresler,Daniel A. Weiser,Daniel A. Weiser,Peter J. Huwe,Jin H. Park,Kateryna Krytska,Hannah T. Ryles,Marci Laudenslager,Eric F. Rappaport,Andrew Wood,Patrick McGrady,Michael D. Hogarty,Michael D. Hogarty,Wendy B. London,Wendy B. London,Ravi Radhakrishnan,Mark A. Lemmon,Yael P. Mosse,Yael P. Mosse +18 more
TL;DR: These studies identify ALK genomic status as a clinically important therapeutic stratification tool in neuroblastoma and will allow tailoring of ALK-targeted therapy to specific mutations, and identify oncogenic (constitutively activating) from nononcogenic mutations.
