Abstract: In this paper,considering adaptive stabilization of a class of time-deley nonlinear systems,and by lyapunov function and Backstepping method,we design a adaptive stabilization controller.Namely by recurrence principle,and at the same time by construction of lyapunov function at the stabilizing controller,we decompose the complicated nonlinear system into the branch system not beyond the systematic ranks.Then partial lyapunov function and the middle fictious controlling scale will be designed for every branch system,and also it will pushed backwards to the whole system.Later,we consider adaptive nonlinear system(1),and choose lyapunov function(4).After calculation,make the closed system from(1) to(5) globally stable.

Abstract: A new modified adaptive backstepping technique is applied to static var compensator (SVC) system with time-delay. By the modified adaptive backstepping method in which the class-k functions are introduced to Lyapunov function, a novel robust control law is designed for a single-machine infinite-bus system with uncertain parameter. In the process of recursive design, without any linearizing the nonlinear time-delay system, the controller preserves nonlinear characteristic, has strong robustness for unknown parameter, improves the transient response of the closed loop system, and effectively resolves the time-delay problem of response process of static var compensator. Simulation examples in further verify the validity of the controller designed.
