Success and failure of cardiovascular disease prevention in Czech Republic over the past 30 years. Czech part of the EUROASPIRE I-IV surveys.

Journal ArticleDOI
The coincidence of low vitamin K status and high expression of growth differentiation factor 15 may indicate increased mortality risk in stable coronary heart disease patients.
Otto Mayer,Jan Bruthans,Jitka Seidlerová,Petra Karnosová,Markéta Mateřánková,Julius Gelžinský,Martina Rychecká,Jan Opatrný,Peter Wohlfahrt,Radek Kucera,Ladislav Trefil,Renata Cifkova,Jan Filipovský,Cees Vermeer +13 more
TL;DR: The individual coincidence of low vitamin K status (high dp-ucMGP) and high GDF-15 expression predicts poor survival of stable CHD patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
European guidelines on cardiovascular disease prevention in clinical practice: past, present, and future: a need for joint forces.
