Towards a model evaluation protocol for urban scale flow and dispersion models
Silvana Di Sabatino,H.R. Olesen,Ruwim Berkowicz,Jörg Franke,Michael Schatzmann,Rex Britter,Heinke Schlünzen,Alberto Martilli,B. Carissimo +8 more
TL;DR: The protocol was proposed with building-resolving models in mind, but integral models have also been included and the suggested approach can be used for further micro-scale model evaluation and for the standardisation of their applications.

Modelling Dispersion from Accidental Releases
TL;DR: In this article, the physical processes relevant to the modelling of the dispersion of accidental releases of dense gases are noted and observations on the structure of dense gas clouds are made, together with comments on mathematical modelling, physical modelling and the development of a workbook.

Re-entrainment around a low-rise industrial building: 2D versus 3D wind tunnel study
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate the re-entrainment of pollutants around a low-rise industrial building under opposing cross winds through experimental means in a wind tunnel and find that the maximum re-enrainment always occurred near the two ends of the building, where the pollutants mostly flowed around the ends rather than over the roof.
