Journal ArticleDOI

Associations of the Fecal Microbial Proteome Composition and Proneness to Diet-induced Obesity.

TL;DR: The fecal proteome, which was comprised of microbial proteins that changed markedly upon exposure to the obesogenic diet associated with extent of obesity and associated dysglycemia, was found, suggesting the fecal microbial proteome plays a role in diet-induced obesity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Acetate reprograms gut microbiota during alcohol consumption

TL;DR: In this article , stable isotope labeled [1-13C] ethanol, metagenomics, and metatranscriptomics in ethanol-feeding and intragastric mouse models were used to investigate the metabolic impacts of alcohol consumption on the gut microbiota.
Journal ArticleDOI

Wastewater surveillance for public health

TL;DR: Wastewater is now a core component of infectious disease monitoring, providing a variant-specific, community-representative picture of public health trends that captures previously undetected spread and pathogen transmission links as discussed by the authors .
Journal ArticleDOI

Occurrence of the aminoacyl‐tRNA synthetases in high‐molecular weight complexes correlates with the size of substrate amino acids

TL;DR: It is demonstrated a strong association between the occurrence of AARSs in the complexes and the volume of their substrate amino acids, and the significance of this association is discussed in terms of the structural organization of translation in the living cell.
