Band Engineering of Dirac Semimetals Using Charge Density Waves

TL;DR: In this article, a new mechanism was introduced, based on charge density waves and non-symmorphic symmetry, to design an idealized Dirac semimetal, which is then shown experimentally that the antiferromagnetic compound GdSb0.46 Te1.48 is a nearly ideal Dirac semiimetal based on the proposed mechanism, meaning that most interfering bands at Fermi level are suppressed.

Isotope Effects in Liquid Water via Deep Potential Molecular Dynamics

TL;DR: In this paper, a combination of dispersion-inclusive hybrid density functional theory (DFT), the Feynman discretized pathintegral (PI) approach, and machine learning (ML) constitutes a versatile $ab$ $initio$ based framework that enables extensive sampling of both thermal and nuclear quantum fluctuations on a quite accurate underlying PES.
