Journal ArticleDOI
Chlorophyll fluorescence emission spectrum inside a leaf
TL;DR: This work presents a vegetation fluorescence emission spectrum free of re-absorption based on a combination of measurements and modelling and says this emission spectrum is applicable to describe vegetationfluorescence in biospectroscopy and remote sensing.
Journal ArticleDOI
Remote sensing of sunlight-induced chlorophyll fluorescence and reflectance of Scots pine in the boreal forest during spring recovery
J. Louis,A. Ounis,Jean-Marc Ducruet,S Evain,Tuomas Laurila,Tea Thum,Mika Aurela,Gunnar Wingsle,Luis Alonso,Roberto Pedrós,Ismael Moya +10 more
TL;DR: A measurement campaign to assess the feasibility of remote sensing of sunlight-induced chlorophyll fluorescence (ChlF) from a coniferous canopy was conducted in a boreal forest study site (Finland) as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
FluorMODleaf: A new leaf fluorescence emission model based on the PROSPECT model
Roberto Pedrós,Roberto Pedrós,Roberto Pedrós,Yves Goulas,Stéphane Jacquemoud,J. Louis,I. Moya +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, a new model of chlorophyll a fluorescence emission by plant leaves, FluorMODleaf, is presented, which is an extension of PROSPECT, a widely used leaf optical properties model that regards the leaf as a pile of absorbing and diffusing elementary plates.
Journal ArticleDOI
Aerosol closure study by lidar, Sun photometry, and airborne optical counters during DAMOCLES field campaign at El Arenosillo sounding station, Spain
Juan Luis Guerrero-Rascado,Juan Luis Guerrero-Rascado,Javier Andrey,Michaël Sicard,Francisco Molero,Adolfo Comerón,Manuel Pujadas,Francesc Rocadenbosch,Roberto Pedrós,O. Serrano-Vargas,Manuel Gil,F.J. Olmo,Hassan Lyamani,Francisco Navas-Guzmán,Lucas Alados-Arboledas +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a comparison of aerosol properties derived from in situ and remote sensing instruments during DAMOCLES campaign, aimed at investigating the equivalence between the instrumentation and methodologies employed by several Spanish groups to study atmospheric aerosols at a regional background site.
Journal ArticleDOI
The optimisation of the angle of inclination of a solar collector to maximise the incident solar radiation
TL;DR: In this paper, the Hays model has been used to find the hourly variation in the optimum tilt angle for a South-facing solar collector in Valencia, Spain, and also to calculate the yearly average of this angle.
