Journal ArticleDOI

Maternal intravascular inflammation in preterm premature rupture of membranes.

TL;DR: Preterm PROM was associated with a significant increase in the median mean channel brightness of CD11b, CD14, CD64 and CD66b on granulocytes and median MCB ofCD11b on monocytes and the ratio of oxidative burst over basal iROS in both granulocyte and monocytes was higher in pretermPROM than in normal pregnancy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Innate Lymphoid Cells in the Maternal and Fetal Compartments.

TL;DR: It is suggested that maternal (uterine and decidual) ILCs play central roles in both the initiation and maintenance of pregnancy, and fetal I LCs participate in the development of immunity.
Journal ArticleDOI

A point of care test for the determination of amniotic fluid interleukin-6 and the chemokine CXCL-10/IP-10.

TL;DR: Comparison of amniotic fluid IL-6 and interferon-γ – inducible protein 10 concentrations determined using lateral flow-based immunoassay or POC test and standard enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) techniques shows that these concentrations are strongly correlated with concentrations determined by conventional ELISA.
